A decent cockpit seal is something no kayaker should be without. These useful pieces of gear are helpful in a number of ways...
- When car-toping a kayak they keep rain out during transport.
- When storing a kayak they keep un-wanted rodents & insects out.
- When camping they turn your cockpit into a dry spot to keep your paddling gear over night.
Nylon Skirts:
A nylon full or half skirt is a great way to extend your paddling season or just keep some water out of your cockpit! Nylon skirts and decks aren't designed for technical paddling and skill development because they will not give a tight seal around the cockpit rim.
- Paddlers MUST be comfortable executing a wet exit by using the grab loop on a full decked spray skirt.
Neoprene Skirts:
Neoprene spray skirts are designed for the paddler looking to push the limits of their paddling skills. These skirts provide a tight seal around the cockpit rim allowing for technical edging and rolling of the kayak in addition to the ability to keep the cockpit dry in rough water conditions.

The Club is a bungee sealed skirt that is perfect for everyday use. The Club employs a super stretchy neoprene deck and a bungee seal that fits easily and comfortably on a variety of cockpit sizes. A flange with urethane glue on the underside increases the seal against your boat. The Club is the perfect beginner to an intermediate skirt.
